WHO WE ARE
We are a team of three staff members along with those in the congregation who are actively involved in serving God here in our community and in the world.
Pastor of Global Engagement. Alan came on staff in January 2007 after spending 32 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators and SIL International in government relations, international public affairs and program administration. Alan received an M.A. from the University of Southern California School of Journalism and is an adjunct professor of Intercultural Studies at Houghton College in New York. Alan has lived in Mexico, the Phillipines, and Hong Kong where he served for eight years as director of the China Program. Prior to coming on staff he served as the Director of International Relations for Wycliffe and SIL in Washington D.C.
Global Engagement Director. Sara joins FCC staff in 2009 after almost five years in the federal government. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2001 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and in 2004 with a Master's in Public Service and Administration. She has a strong passion for service and volunteerism both at home and abroad. Sara has traveled with FCC to Zambia and hopes to become a full-time missionary overseas in the future, but remains open and willing to serve whatever and wherever God calls her.
