SERVE

Each week, hundreds of people serve inside and outside the walls of Fairfax Community. It is the servant hearts of these people that make our guests feel welcome, teach our children, serve coffee, lead a small group, care for orphans and tell others about Christ. Strategic service demonstrates our love of God and love of others. God calls us to serve. Serving at Fairfax Community is one of the ways you can use the gifts, talents, passions and abilities God has given you! Our service has the greatest impact when our individual strengths and passions are strategically utilized to accomplish the mission of the church. There are a few things you can do to learn more about serving at Fairfax Community Church.

1.Learn about our strategic service opportunities. We encourage you to check out our detailed ministry position descriptions.

2. Meet with a Ministry Connector. If you aren't sure where to serve and want to talk to someone about your specific passions, gifts, talents, and abilities--meeting with a ministry connector is the next step for you. If you would like to set up a meeting with a Ministry Connector, email serve@fairfax.cc and someone will contact you.


3.Pray about where God would have you to serve--either inside ot outside the walls of Fairfax Community. God has a place for each Christian to serve that best uses his/her gifts, talents, passions and abilities. Ask Him to reveal where He wants you to serve so you can find the joy in serving!
