The Great Room Conference Series

The Great Room Conference Series is an important part of Fairfax Community Church’s mission to “engage the culture with the Good News of the Kingdom.”  The GRCS explores the intersections of faith, culture and vocation by drawing on prominent speakers whose lives are characterized by the integration of their faith and vocational experience.  The series helps participants wrestle with the issue of what it means to be a passionate follower of Christ in the “marketplace of ideas” and seeks to provide practical tools for living out a meaningful witness in the strategic environments where God has placed us.  Great Room Conferences normally begin on a Friday evening.  The evening session is followed by opportunity for personal interaction with speakers and other attendees over dessert.  Speakers who are authors are available to sign books.  The Saturday sessions kick off with breakfast and end before lunch.  The cost is $25 and $10 for students.
